Affectionately known as “Lexy”, Ms. J. Lexy Brooks is the Founder and President of VIP
Connected Entertainment, llc, the largest Caribbean-American Talent/Event Planning Agency worldwide.
VIP was founded in 2003 and is based in New York City, NY. Prior to launching her own company, Ms.
Brooks was employed by Vardinoyannis Group out of Athens Greece. She also had the pleasure
of working with Bernard Spitzer, real estate tycoon, whose son is former Attorney General and
Governor of New York State, Mr. Elliott Spitzer. Ms. Brooks enjoyed the challenge of juggling
between her commercial real estate job and the legal world. She would say it prepared her for
stepping into her own business and has shaped her into a well rounded business woman. After
6 years at her corporate job, Ms. Brooks decided it was time to step out on her own and spread

Lexy Brooks, the firm is the largest Caribbean-American booking/talent agency worldwide and they can connect you to “Who's Who” in the entertainment industry.
In addition to providing an array of talent and other dynamic services to clients worldwide, Ms. Brooks has also successfully managed several Artists and Dancers. Considered an entertainment guru in the music business, Ms. Brooks would tell you that she pride herself on being able to provide an extensive variety of professional services as her clients are her #1 priority.
Through her company VIP Connected Entertainment, llc Ms. Brooks has worked on several PR campaigns for various celebrities. She uses her social media and other media platforms to help build reputation for most of her clients. She is a public relations specialist who shapes images. "My main goal is to generate positive publicity and enhance the lives and reputation of my clients", said Ms. Brooks in a recent interview. In 2019 she served as Publicist and representative for actor Michael Rainey Jr., star of the show POWER, at the 2019 BET Youth Awards.
In 2008, Ms. Brooks assisted with bringing a US$7 million multiplex movie cinema to the country of St. Kitts and Nevis. "Caribbean Cinemas" opened its' doors to hundreds of movie goers and Ms. Brooks was on hand to serve as Mistress of Ceremony as well as ribbon cutting.
In 2009, she was named most “Powerful Woman In Reggae Music” by Caribbean Lifestyle TV.
In 2011, she appeared on BET and BET J as a commentator on the show “TOP 20 GREATEST
MOMENTS IN REGGAE”, which aired for 6 months .
In 2013, she was awarded "AMBASSADOR TO PORT HARCOURT", Nigeria (along with Shaggy, Patra, Wyclef Jean, Busta Rhymes, Chaka Demus and Plies and Beenie Man) by the Director General Mr. Sam Dede, for her dedication and hard work with bringing the best in entertainment to their country for over 10 years.
In 2014, Ms. Brooks was awarded the "STRATEGIC VISION AWARD IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT" by the “Young Gifted and Black Entrepreneurs of America”.

In 2017, she was awarded by the CSA, at Syracuse University for her dedicated service for helping to plan and produce their events for over 10 years.
In 2019, she was again awarded the "MARCUS GARVEY AWARD" in Leadership by Syracuse University.
In 2019 Ms. Brooks led the"WOMAN TO WATCH EMPOWERMENT" discussion with Syntyche "Syn" Clarck and Whenda "Wanda" Tima at Syracuse University.
Universities such as Rutgers, Brown, Pace, Penn State, St. John’s, Howard University, University of Massachusetts, Baruch College, NYU, New York State University in Oswego are just some of the educational institutions that Ms. Lexy provides her impeccable and professional services to. From Costa Rica, Japan, Switzerland to the Caribbean, South, Central and North America, there is not a continent that Ms. Brooks does not have clients on.
2018-Present, Ms. Brooks was tapped as President of the prestigious Jamaica Independence Foundation, Inc (JIFINYC.org). A non-profit organization which celebrates Jamaica Independence under the distinguished patronage of the Consulate General of Jamaica in New York.

CARIBBEAN ALL-STAR STUDENTS -was created to help inner city school children improve their writing skills and creative thinking abilities. This program is a Writing Essay Competition given to Primary and Secondary school children throughout the Caribbean.
The Jamaica Independence Foundation, Inc. was established in 2017 primarily to manage the annual celebratory activities for Jamaica’s independence in the NE region of the United States.
